As a young man my dad and I would go to the Bayard Cutting Arboreteum and there we would walk around, talk, and take pictures. When we got home we would go to the basement where he introduced me to the art and science of printing my pictures. From the very beginning I was drawn to the idea of creating abstract photographs. When I met photoshop the concept exploded. All the abstracts shown below are based on actual photographs. I find it is easier to get the symmetries I need by doing this. I have also included some pictures of fireworks for the heck of it --just because I can.
